QuickBooks Desktop Configuration Options

The Plugin retrieves the IntelliTrack division or divisions that are assigned to the logged-in user. Click the drop-down arrow in the Default Division field to view the list of available divisions and select the default division from the options that appear. The QuickBooks data is placed in the selected division during a synchronization.

After the user selects a default division, the Plugin retrieves the units of measure for this division. Click the drop-down arrow in the Default UOM field and select a default UOM from the list that appears.

After the user selects a default division, the plugin retrieves the sites for this division. Click the drop-down arrow in the Default Site field and select a default site from the list that appears. The QuickBooks data is placed in this site.

Note: This field does not appear in the Configuration tab when the Multiple Sites option is selected. The sites are configured at the Multiple Sites tab when using the multiple sites feature (see "Multiple Sites Feature").

After the user selects a default site, the plugin retrieves the locations for the site. Click the drop-down arrow in the Default Location field and select a default location for the QuickBooks data. When QuickBooks inventory is imported into IntelliTrack, it will be placed in the selected site-location.

Note: This field does not appear in the Configuration tab when the Multiple Sites option is selected. The site-locations are configured at the Multiple Sites tab when using the multiple sites feature.

Mark this checkbox to manually post the orders from IntelliTrack to QuickBooks from the Invoices & Receipts tab in the plugin.

Mark this option to process partial receiving orders/purchase orders in IntelliTrack that have been marked as Closed with the Plugin. (If this option is not marked, partial orders marked as closed will not be exported to QuickBooks by the plugin.)

Mark this option to process partial picking orders/sales orders in IntelliTrack that have been marked as Closed with the Plugin. (If this option is not marked, partial orders marked as closed will not be exported to QuickBooks by the Plugin.)

Mark this checkbox to set the preferred delivery method for the Invoice generated in QuickBooks to Print Later.

Select to enable multiple sites; when this option is marked, the Multiple Sites tab appears and the Site field and the Location field disappear in the Configuration tab (see "Multiple Sites Feature"). Map a specific IntelliTrack site and default location to a QuickBooks site and the site information will flow back and forth according to the mapped settings for inventory and inventory adjustments. The site mapping occurs at the Multiple Sites tab. You must use the Multiple Inventory Sites setting in QuickBooks to use this feature.

Important: Inventory should only be mapped from one QuickBooks site to one IntelliTrack site.

Warning: Do not map a IntelliTrack site to a QuickBooks bin location. The Plugin does not support bin location tracking.

If you are exporting inventory adjustments from the Plugin, you must set a QuickBooks Adjustment Account. This is the account that the exported inventory will be tied to. The connection to the QuickBooks Company file must be established in order to set the Adjustment Account.

Click the Search button to the right of the Adjustment Account field. This will import the QuickBooks adjustment accounts to the Plugin. Next, click the drop-down arrow in the Adjustment Account field and select the adjustment account from the options available.
